Rachael Araujo ’25

Digital Scholarship Intern

Rachael supports DiSC’s digital marketing efforts by creating social media content, writing stories on the team’s projects, and maintaining DiSC’s website. She shares that the team’s commitment to supporting their interns has helped her apply her writing and editing skills to digital marketing. Rachael is a sophomore planning to complete a major in Literature and a double minor in History and Digital Arts. On campus, she enjoys playing on Hamilton’s Ultimate Frisbee team and taking walks through the Root Glen.

Anna Grace ’25

Lead Digital Scholarship Intern

Anna is pursuing a Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration. Her certification will allow her to fly unmanned aerial systems (drones) for the remote data collection of future projects. In addition, she is helping to develop an Omeka S website that displays robust metadata with rich text and media. Anna is a junior planning to complete a double major in Math and Computer Science. Some of Anna's favorite spots on campus are the study rooms located in Root Hall or the Physics department’s study lounge.

Anthony Hevia ’24

Lead Digital Scholarship Intern

During his time with DiSC, Anthony has worked with a team of individuals to build digital archives with Omeka S and WordPress. Anthony shares that these projects have deepened his understanding of metadata and website design, development, and maintenance. Currently, he is exploring photogrammetry methods and technologies to support a range of projects, including an exploration of underwater photogrammetry. Anthony is a junior planning to complete a major in Computer Science with a minor in Math. On campus, Anthony enjoys walking around campus or through the Root Glen.

Khuslen “T” Tulga ’23

Lead Digital Scholarship Intern

T had a curiosity to explore programming and has found a supportive and free environment to explore her interests related to digital scholarship with DiSC. Currently, she is creating a 3D model of Burke Library as part of a larger project on campus. Previously, she assisted in the creation of a variety of Omeka S websites that allowed faculty to maintain and display their research as part of their digital scholarship. T is a senior majoring in Economics and minoring in Computer Science. She has played piano since kindergarten and tells us she enjoys using the practice rooms inside LIST Center.
