Sip signature cocktails and learn how to stir up some of your own at this behind-the-scenes party at Campari Headquarters, hosted by Campari Group CEO Bob Kunze-Concewitz ’88. Throughout the evening, guests will be invited to step into the Campari Academy for cocktail-making workshops exploring variations of the classic Negroni. Sarge Kinlin ’16 will provide a DJ set and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Space is limited, so sign up early to reserve your spot! Registrants will be sent a unique QR code to gain entry to the building.

Guided Art Tour of the American Wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with Suzanne Julig

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, 1000 5th Avenue (at 82nd Street)
Explore the American Wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of the finest and most comprehensive collections of American art in the world. During the tour, view Tiffany windows, sculpture, decorative arts, and such masterpieces as Washington Crossing the Delaware that reflect the pride of a young nation and honor its heroes. Experience the growth of popular culture in America through charming genre paintings and sculpture, including one depiction of a Hamilton graduate's family! In addition, view the celebration of the American landscape in the spectacular works of the Hudson River School, the unique vision of the great realist painters Winslow Homer and Thomas Eakins, and learn the scandalous story behind the John Singer Sargent society portrait, Madame X. Tours are available at either 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. and are limited to 25 participants each. Exact meet-up location will be shared with registered guests prior to the event.

Here We Go Again: The 2024 Election Cycle

Philip Klinkner, the James S. Sherman Professor of Government at Hamilton, moderates a discussion about the upcoming presidential election. Panelists include: Glenn Altschuler, the Thomas and Dorothy Litwin Professor of American Studies at Cornell University and a Weiss Presidential Fellow, and Associate Professor Gbemende Johnson with the Department of Political Science at the University of Georgia and former professor at Hamilton.

Off the Record with David Solomon: Round Two

An encore of last year’s standing-room-only session with Goldman Sachs Chairman and CEO and Chair of the Hamilton Board of Trustees, David Solomon ’84, P’16. He doesn't claim to have all the answers, but David will take all of your questions in this future-focused conversation with his Hamilton community.

A Hard Look at Higher Ed

A conversation between two of Hamilton’s past presidents, Gene Tobin P’96 and Joan Hinde Stewart, and current president David Wippman, moderated by Tom Schwarz ’66, P’01, president emeritus of Purchase College. This panel will discuss their leadership experiences on the Hill, the challenges facing today’s colleges and universities, and the source of the public’s misgivings about higher education. 

Lunch and Learn: Decoding the Future of AI

Artificial intelligence is being used by organizations around the globe to synthesize data and create images, videos, text, and other forms of content. A panel of Hamilton's alumni, faculty, and staff will explore the dynamic landscape of AI in higher education and beyond, presenting its trends, challenges, trade-offs, ethical concerns, and the impact on the admission process, personalized learning, and student support.

Merrily We Roll Along

Spanning three decades in the entertainment business, Merrily We Roll Along charts the turbulent relationship between composer Franklin Shepard and his two lifelong friends — writer Mary and lyricist & playwright Charley. An inventive cult classic ahead of its time, Merrily We Roll Along features some of Stephen Sondheim’s most celebrated and personal songs.

Join Tracy L. Adler, the Wellin Museum’s Johnson-Pote Director, for a cocktail reception with exhibiting artist Rhona Bitner to celebrate her first museum retrospective titled Rhona Bitner: Resound, which is on view at the Wellin Museum from September 9 through December 9. This exhibition features several bodies of photographic work created over the last 30 years and explores the domains and trappings of performance. Meet the artist and view a selection of artworks on display.
