Two sons — a U.S. assistant district attorney and a suspected terrorist awaiting trial for attempting to smuggle explosives across the Canadian border. One grandson — kidnapped and used as leverage. Sherer is the author of numerous books and articles and is a member of the International Thriller Writers and Mystery Writers of America.
