Recruitment of first-year international, first-generation (first in the family to attend college) and historically underrepresented students to become mentees takes place during the summer before students enter Hamilton.

Invitations to join the Project are communicated by electronic mail (email). Prospective mentees are asked to provide information about their personal and academic interests in order to match them with a compatible peer mentor.

Upon signing and submitting the Mentee Participation Agreement, mentees are invited to join the Peer Mentoring Facebook group. The goal is to have mentees, their assigned peer mentors and others in the program begin communications as early as possible during the summer.

For more information contact Assistant Dean of Students for International Students and Accessibility Allen Harrison at aharriso@hamilton.edu or 315-859-4021, ext. 4021 on-campus.
