The Multicultural Peer Mentoring Program at Hamilton College offers invaluable support to first-year students as they navigate the transition to college life, with a special focus on international, first-generation, and historically underrepresented students.

It acknowledges and aims to address the unique challenges these students may encounter as they begin their college journey. Through this program, first-year students are paired with experienced peer mentors who provide guidance and assistance throughout the academic year.

The program focuses on creating a welcoming environment by fostering relationship building, offering resources, and organizing events aimed at helping new students acclimate to college and build a sense of belonging.
