Meet The Head Peer Mentors
Head Peer Mentors
Christie Lam ’25
General Head Peer Mentor
Hi! I’m Christie and I am a senior from Panama. I am a Hispanic Studies major and have been involved with this program since my Freshman year. I love connecting with my peers from all class years and being able to work on the behind the scenes to facilitate that has been amazing. On campus you’ll often find me running around to my many odd jobs, but I will always have time for a chat :)
Shey Sanges ’26
General Head Peer Mentor
Hello! My name is Shey, and I’m a junior from New York. My favorite part about leading MP2 is facilitating conversations between mentors and mentees about all things college and hearing about the amazing connections mentors and mentees find with one another. On campus, you’ll spot me leading the Harvest program and conducting neuroscience research as well as assisting with sustainability efforts in the EPSS office. Feel free to reach out with any comments or suggestions!
Elise Kwon ’26
Social Media Operations Head Peer Mentor
Hi all!! I’m Elise, and I’m a current junior :) I’m a biochemistry major and music minor on the pre-MD/PhD track from Southern California. I’ve been with MP2 as both a mentee and a mentor, and I’ve loved every part of it. As a student of color and also coming so far from home, I understand the struggle of adjusting to college, and I love to help incoming freshies find their footing at Hamilton! On campus, I’m also involved as a First Year Leader, president of ROOTS (Society for Students of STEM), orchestra concertmaster, student researcher in the Datta Lab, worker at the Career Center, volunteer with HAVOC, and I dance with Trop Sol! Super stoked to meet y’all!!
