COVID-19 Update

Dear Hamilton Community Members,
It is hard to believe that it was over three years ago that the COVID-19 pandemic started. Little did we know the huge impact it would have on our daily lives, our community, and our families. Fortunately, we have moved back to normal operations and, effective May 11, 2023, the federal COVID-19 public health emergency is set to expire. Unvaccinated employees and students are no longer required to wear masks, but we will continue to be a mask-friendly campus. Starting on May 11th, Hamilton will no longer require students and employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. However, everyone is strongly encouraged to continue following CDC guidelines for vaccination and booster doses.
Thank you for your compliance with the College’s COVID-19 policies throughout this global health crisis. And thank you for pulling together to keep Hamilton going during a very difficult time. The energy, goodwill, and creativity that so many people devoted to the effort is a tribute to the strong community that we are.
We plan to sunset the COVID-19 Information website. Going forward we will report important public health information on a new page associated with the Health Center website.
