Former United States Ambassador to Germany John Emerson ’75 and retired Vice Chairman of GE John Rice ’78 will share their predictions in a discussion moderated by department chair and Professor of Government Sharon Werning Rivera. Drawing on their experiences working abroad, Emerson and Rice offer insight on the impact of a global pandemic and a contentious U.S. election on the state of international affairs.

In this special live edition, he’ll get up close and personal with Emmy Award winners Paul Lieberstein ’89 and Toni Bullock ’08. Paul is best known as writer, executive producer, and supporting cast member Toby Flenderson on the NBC sitcom The Office. Toni is currently a director of development at a leading lifestyle production company and recently produced two timely television specials, Black Women Own the Conversation: COVID-19 for the OWN Network and Time is Now: Race and Resolution for the A&E networks and streamers.

Join Arthur Kalita ’71 and Jessica Mozeico ’95 to learn how the two have paired up to create award winning Willamette Valley Pinot Noir in Oregon for over 15 years. We will learn how Hamilton poised them for wine business ownership, what vineyard ownership and winemaking really entail, and how they are managing the 2020 challenges. We will learn Jessica’s tasting framework as we compare two wines that they created together, including one that they pulled out of their cellar.

Hamilton will send the tasting wines to participants in advance. You must register by Nov. 25 to receive your package. Cost is $100 per household.

Join Tracy L. Adler, Johnson-Pote Director of the Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art, for a virtual studio tour with internationally-renowned artist Sarah Oppenheimer. Oppenheimer’s work will be featured in a solo exhibition at the Wellin Museum in Fall 2021. Over the past several years, Oppenheimer has constructed a series of works that engage with the architecture of the museum itself, and are activated by a visitor’s tactile engagement. Attendees of this discussion will be treated to a sneak peek into the artist's practice and a preview of her upcoming exhibition at the Wellin.

Suzanne Julig is a fine art professional with over 30 years in the field, and guides new and experienced collectors through all facets of building and maintaining art collections. She was a director at three prominent New York galleries before founding her art advisory business in 2008, and has worked in art market education at NYU, Sotheby's Institute of Art, and Christie's Education. Suzanne holds BA and MA degrees in Art History.
