Excursions & Cultural Visits
Cultural Reimbursement
Students receive reimbursement for half of the cost of cultural events which they attend individually (theater, film, museums visits, etc.).
Academic Excursions
Some of our academic excursions have been:
Barcelona
A three-day weekend trip to the global, international Catalan city of Barcelona, featuring a visit to the Parc Guell, Sagrada Familia, la Barceloneta and more.
Córdoba and Málaga
A weekend trip to the southern region of Spain where the students will have the opportunity to visit historical landmarks such as La Mezquita in Córdoba and the Museo Picasso in Málaga. Not to mention the many other gastronomical and cultural experiences that these cities have to offer.
Galicia
A five-day orientation trip to the northwestern Spanish region of Galicia, that includes a hike on the Camino de Santiago, Santiago de Compostela, a visit to a vineyard and to several coastal fishing villages.
Mallorca
A three-day weekend trip to the island of Mallorca, located on the Mediterranean Sea, visiting the towns of Palma de Mallorca and Soller, with visits to beaches, a boat ride and a scenic train ride.
País Vasco (Basque Country)
A three-day weekend trip to the Basque Country, located in the northeast of Spain, visiting the cities of San Sebastián and Bilbao, including visits to an outdoor museum, the Guggenheim in Bilbao and scenic walking tours.
Salamanca and Segovia
A three-day weekend trip to Segovia, located about an hour north of Madrid, and to Salamanca, a historic town in the province of Salamanca. Visits include the cathedral, the aqueduct of Segovia, and a stop at La Granja, a royal site.
Sevilla and Granada
A five-day orientation trip to the region of Andalucia, visiting the cities of Granada and Sevilla. Visits may include the Alhambra, the Alcazar de Sevilla, a wine-tasting event and an olive oil farm and factory.
