Image Use

Photography and videography are used to share glimpses into campus life at Hamilton College with prospective students, parents, alumni, and other supporters. Images may be used for purposes of news and information, promotion of events, recruiting future students, communicating to alumni, or other bona fide reasons.

There is no expectation of privacy in public or common spaces around campus, indoors and outdoors, and candid photography and videography taken in these spaces do not require consent. If you see a photographer or videographer on campus and do not wish for your image to be recorded, politely decline to be included.

Agreeing to participate in posed photography or videography at any location is considered consent to have your image used for the purposes described above. If a photography or videography session is for a specific purpose, then you may be asked to sign a release form.
