Course Description:

In this course we will look closely at 25 objects (roughly one per day) that embody significant intersections among different cultures and/or periods. The objects range from medieval textiles to contemporary mixed-media assemblages. We will be learning about how to look at works of art and how to effectively express our thoughts about them in spoken and written words.
