An extensive comparative overview, history and analysis of ten transnational feminist movements from around the world.  In addition to considering the interconnections and particulars of contemporary struggles for social justice, the course will ask questions about the logistics of movement building, the practical efficacy of feminist epistemologies, and the relationships among organizing, academia, and feminist politics.
