Presidential Search Update

Dear Hamilton College Community,

We hope this message finds you well as another academic year gets under way. We are writing to provide an update on the presidential search. Over the summer, our search consultants at Isaacson, Miller met with members of the Hamilton community and the presidential search committee to gain a deep understanding of Hamilton, the opportunities and challenges facing our next president, and the qualities and experience we are seeking in candidates for the position.

Your input helped shape a comprehensive position profile, which is now available on Hamilton’s presidential search website. The profile is instrumental to our recruitment efforts as we build a diverse and strong pool of applicants.

Additional listening sessions with Isaacson, Miller will take place over the next few weeks for anyone who has not yet been able to participate or who is interested in providing further comment. In addition, the community feedback survey will remain open throughout the search.

Your continued input via the survey tool and listening sessions will supplement the position profile and will provide additional key content for discussions with prospective candidates.
