Congratulations on your acceptance to Hamilton! We look forward to welcoming you to campus this August. Orientation at Hamilton consists of two parts: adventure trips and on-campus orientation programming. Adventure trips include Adirondack Adventure, Outreach Adventure and Exploration Adventure. We have more than 65 trip options this year; from beekeeping to building homes in Utica to kayaking Lake Champlain, our hope is that all students will find one (or many!) trips that appeal to you. You can view our 2016 trip lists here. New students will receive information via email or hard copy in late May, and can begin registering for Orientation Adventure Trips by early June.
Arrival day and residence hall move-in for all new students will take place on Tuesday, August 16. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., and residence halls will open at the same time. A full schedule, including a list of arrival day activities, parent programs, and some adventure trip details can be viewed here. Please note that the schedule is still being finalized, and some programs and events will be added through early July.
For more information please call 315-859-4846 or email Tessa Chefalo, coordinator of Orientation and First-Year Programs. We look forward to meeting you in August!
