Terry Martinez leads the staff of the Division of Student Life with a focus on student leadership and engagement, intellectual and personal growth, a safe living and learning environment, and community building activities.
Dean of Students
Jeff Landry is responsible for the day-to-day operations and provides direction and leadership to the division of Student Life. In addition, Jeff provides oversight for the following departments: Campus Safety, Campus Investigator, Counseling and Psychological Services, Student Health Services and the Office of Community Standards. Jeff is also a member of the Hamilton Emergency Response Team (HERT).
Travis Hill reports to the Vice President and Dean of Students and serves as a member of the Student Life Leadership team. Travis supervises the Directors in the Office of Residential Life, Orientation and First Year Programs, Outdoor Leadership, and Student Activities. Travis oversees Greek life on campus, serves as a judicial hearing officer, and serves on a variety of committees including HERT, Students of Concern, Trans Advocate Team, and Enrollment Management.
Maria Genao-Homs reports to the Chief Diversity Officer and serves as a member of the Student Life Leadership Team. Maria oversees three key departments: International Students and Accessibility, the Days-Massolo Center, and the office of the Chaplain. Maria provides insightful vision for the collective work of ensuring a campus climate in which all students feel like they belong in order to thrive and succeed. She does so by collaborating with students and faculty as well campus partners. Additionally, Maria serves as the chair of the Bias Incident Response Team (BIRT), advisor to the QuestBridge Scholars Program and coordinates Hamilton's Posse Scholars Program.
Sarah Solomon provides leadership and oversight for a campus-wide student case management program that addresses the needs of students who are experiencing significant difficulties related to mental health, physical health, and/or psycho-social adjustment. Sarah will provide direct case management services including interventions, referrals, and follow-up services. She will work in close collaboration with faculty, faculty advisors, health care providers, Student Affairs colleagues and parents and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Associate Professor of Chemistry Adam Van Wynsberghe coordinates the academic advising program and serves as a resource for faculty advisors. He chairs the Committee on Academic Standing (CAS), assists students to prepare petitions to the CAS, and administers its decisions. Adam works with faculty and other associate deans to help students resolve a variety of academic issues, and consults with the chair of the Honor Court on cases.
Allen Harrison advises international students, manages the peer mentoring programming for first-generation and multicultural students, and oversees accessibility services. For the latter, he works closely with students and their faculty members to coordinate accommodations for students with disabilities.
Catherine Berryman serves as the College’s Title IX Coordinator and oversees the College's Code of Student Conduct. Catherine coordinates the activities of the Harassment and Sexual Misconduct Board and the Judicial Board.
Judie serves as the Campus Investigator and Compliance Officer. Her primary responsibility is to investigate reports of harassment and sexual misconduct for the College and to provide investigative reports to the Office of Community Standards. In addition, Judie will ensure that the College meets the proper compliance requirements regarding Title IX complaints.
Dayna Campbell is responsible for developing and implementing Hamilton’s sexual assault prevention and education curriculum. She is also responsible for coordinating student, faculty and staff engagement in our ongoing prevention and education programs as well as compliance regarding state and federal Title IX regulations. Dayna also oversees the administrative functions of the College’s Student Code of Conduct and the Judicial Board.
Cindy Reynolds provides administrative support to the Dean of Students and the Senior Associate Dean of Students. In addition, she coordinates student break shuttles and handles communication concerning student health insurance.
Regina Johnson provides a broad range of administrative support to the Associate Dean for Health and Safety and the Associate Dean for Multicultural Affairs and Accessibility Services. In addition, she coordinates judicial meetings/hearings and assists international students with immigration documents.
Karen Prentice-Duprey provides a broad range of secretarial and administrative support for the Associate Dean of Students for Student Support Services, the Associate Dean of Students for Academics (including duties for the Committee on Academic Standing and the Honor Court), and serves as a liaison for the Office of Off-Campus Study.
