Derek Jones, the Irma M. and Robert D. Morris Professor of Economics, co-authored an article titled “Comparative Efficiency Between Cooperative, Savings and Commercial Banks in Europe Using The Frontier Approach” in the Annals of Public and Cooperative Economics.

“Efficiency in Employee-Owned Enterprises: An Econometric Case Study of Mondragon,” an article co-authored by Derek Jones, the Irma M. and Robert D. Morris Professor of Economics, was recently published online in ILR Review: The Journal of Work and Policy.

Students on Hamilton’s Program in NYC recently paid a visit to Richard Bernstein Advisors, an investment advising firm founded by alumnus Richard Bernstein ’80.  After working at Merrill Lynch as the chief investment strategist, Bernstein left Merrill in 2008 and started his own firm in 2009, in the midst of the Great Recession.

Three essays by Derek Jones, the Irma M. and Robert D. Morris Professor of Economics, have been reprinted as chapters in The Economics Of Worker Cooperatives. The book was edited by John Pencavel of Stanford University and is part of The International Library of Critical Writings in Economics series from Edward Elgar Publishing.
