The Hamilton College Performing Arts Series presents the Robert Glasper Trio on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center. Multi-Grammy winner Glasper returns to his acoustic jazz roots in a concert supporting his latest album, Covered.  The album reunites Glasper with bassist Vicente Archer and drummer Damion Reid, who will be performing with Glasper on piano and keys at Hamilton.

Hamilton College Performing Arts presents Symphoria on Sunday, Jan. 24, at 3 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center. Symphoria is the orchestra of Musical Associates of CNY, a not-for-profit organization made up of nearly 50 members of the former Syracuse Symphony Orchestra.

Co-ed a cappella group Duelly Noted is preparing for its sixth annual concert tour during Hamilton’s winter break. The four-day tour will include performances in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.

The spring semester of Hamilton’s Performing Arts series will feature an exciting season of music and dance in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts. All performances are at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Hamilton College Department of Music and Utica Dance, Inc. will collaborate for the second time on a fully-staged production of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 11, 12 and 13 in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center, on the Hamilton College campus.  Performance times are Friday and Saturday 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The Hamilton College Orchestra will play Tchaikovsky’s score for the evening performances. The afternoon performances will have recorded music.

The Hamilton College Department of Music presents the Hamilton Jazz Ensemble’s winter concert, “Big Band Bop!” on Monday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m., in Café Opus, McEwen Hall.

The Hamilton College Departments of Art, Music, and Literature and Creative Writing will present a chamber salon featuring student artwork, chamber music, poetry readings and light refreshments in the Linda Johnson Gallery of the Kennedy Center for Theatre and Studio Arts  on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 1:30 p.m.

The Hamilton College Orchestra will present its fall concert on Friday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall. Admission is free and no tickets are required. The orchestra, conducted by Heather Buchman, will perform Mozart Symphony No. 36, Linz; Excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker and Dvorak Czech Suite.
