  • Two current religious studies majors and one religious studies alumna presented papers at the recent annual meeting of the Eastern-International Region of the American Academy of Religion, hosted by Syracuse University.

  • Associate Professor of Religious Studies Abhishek S. Amar was invited to participate in the Bodh Gaya Global Dialogues on Sustainable Development, Heritage and Enlightenment.

  • Two Hamilton faculty members were approved for tenure by the College’s Board of Trustees during the March meeting. The board granted tenure to Abhishek Amar and Quincy Newell, both of the Religious Studies department. Both appointments are effective immediately.
