Voice
Hamilton College has launched voice apps that allow prospective students and others to quickly learn about Hamilton through their Alexa and Google Home devices.
Depending on the device, users can simply say “Alexa, enable Hamilton College ” or “Hey Google, talk to Hamilton College” to hear directly from the College president, students, and staff members.
Hamilton’s project partner is Voicify, a platform that enables businesses and other organizations to offer sophisticated nonhuman conversations via voice assistants. Voicify, which was founded and is run by three Hamilton alumni, worked with the College to help it become one of the first higher ed institutions to use voice-assisted software for its marketing.
