Jess Kelly

Quantitative and Symbolic Reasoning Center Director

Jess Kelly (she/her) assumed the role of QSR Center Director in August of 2021. She is passionate about equity in education and is committed to ensuring that all students can achieve success in quantitative fields. Jess came to Hamilton after teaching at Herkimer College for the previous 9 years. She holds a B.S. in Mathematics from William Smith College and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from SUNY ESF.

Matt Hanrahan

Office Assistant

Matt Hanrahan (he/him) joined the QSR staff in August of 2023. He loves working with students and is ready to answer your questions. Matt ensures that the QSR Center runs smoothly for the staff, student employees, and all of the students utilizing the Center's resources. He graduated in December of 2022 from Utica University with a B.S. in Sports Management.

Meredith Wilf

Social Science Empirical Research Specialist

Meredith Wilf (she/her) joined the QSR Center in January of 2024. She aims to facilitate meaningful student experiences with data and research methodology, and to cultivate skills that students find useful beyond graduation. Meredith previously taught and researched at the University of Pittsburgh, and has held industry positions. She holds a B.A. and M.B.A. from University of Rochester and a Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University.

A Community of Peer Support

More than 300 student mentor roles exist in nearly every space a student would hope to find a friendly face. Not only do students support each other academically as tutors and peer mentors, but they also help each other professionally at the Career Center, and even in moments of crisis as EMTs.
