The Ellen and John Martin Scholarship
The Ellen and John Martin Scholarship was established by Nancy Martin Gernert, Class of 1981, in honor of her parents.
An English major at Hamilton, Nancy Martin pursued a career as a publicist for several publishing companies following graduation. In September 1987, she married David Gernert, founder, president, CEO and literary agent at the Gernert Company, Inc. Nancy has a long-standing interest in the arts and hopes that, at some point, this award may touch a student who shares her passion.
