The Kessler Family Scholarship

The Kessler Family Scholarship, established in 2004 by John W. and Charlotte P. Kessler, parents of Jane Kessler Lennox, Class of 1993, is awarded to students demonstrating financial need with preference given to students from northeastern Ohio or the greater Columbus area.


John W. Kessler, is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Business Administration. He is the founder and has served as chairman of the John Kessler Company and the New Albany Company, both specializing in real estate development.

Charlotte P. Kessler is an active community volunteer and patron of the arts. She has served as vice president of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and was on the executive committee of the Greater Columbus Arts Council. She has also been a board member of the Ohio Arts Council and served as vice president of the Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation.

Jane Kessler Lennox, a real estate agent in central Ohio, graduated from Hamilton in 1993. While on the Hill, she was a member of Phi Beta Chi sorority. She has served as president of the Columbus Alumni Association.
