The George J. Finguerra-CIT Group Scholarship
The George J. Finguerra-CIT Group Scholarship, established in 1992 by the CIT Foundation in honor of George J. Finguerra, father of Dyan M. Finguerra, Class of 1992, is awarded with preference given to minority students.
A resident of Old Westbury, New York, George Finguerra was named president and COO of CIT Group/Equipment Financing Inc. division in Livingston, New Jersey, in 1987 and later served as senior executive vice president in the New York Office until his retirement.
A member of Kappa Delta Omega sorority, Dyan Finguerra-DuCharme graduated from Hamilton in 1992 and earned her J.D. from Brooklyn School of Law. She works as counsel at White & Case LLP in New York City, specializing in commercial litigation and intellectual property. World Trademark Review ranked Dyan as a leading trademark lawyer in 2012. She has published in The New York Law Journal. In 1997, she married Seth DuCharme, also of the Class of 1992.
