The Robert G. Braunlich III '55 Memorial Scholarship
The Robert G. Braunlich III ’55 Memorial Scholarship was established in 2001 by William E. Braunlich, Class of 1957, in memory of his brother, Robert, a member of the Class of 1955.
Robert “Bob” Braunlich enrolled at Hamilton in 1951, where he participated in track, Chess Club and the Delta Phi Fraternity. Following graduation Bob was employed by Marine Midland Bank and eventually reached the position of Senior Vice President. In August 1963 he was diagnosed with leukemia and died in May 1967.
Among his many fond memories of Hamilton, Bill particularly recalls “attending college with my older brother for two years.”
