The Bond Family Scholarship
The Bond Family Scholarship, established in 2007, is awarded with first preference given to students who can be reasonably identified as the son or daughter of a living or deceased firefighter, law enforcement officer or teacher from one of the five boroughs of New York City or from Westchester County, N.Y.
Douglas R. Bond entered Hamilton in 1977 and majored in history and economics. After graduating in 1981, he earned an M.B.A. from New York University. He worked for Merrill Lynch for over 23 years, eventually serving as Vice President. Douglas later joined Cohen & Steers Inc. as Executive Vice President for corporate development.
