I am writing to share the sad news that life trustee Nancy Ferguson Seeley GP’17 died April 18, 2024 at the age of 95. 

We are writing to extend the College’s deep condolences to the family and friends of Basil Brown, who died tragically last week while enrolled as a student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

I am writing to announce the appointment of John McLaughlin as Hamilton’s next vice president for enrollment management and dean of admission.

Mary Burke Partridge P’94, a life trustee and member of a prominent Hamilton family, died yesterday following an extended illness.

The Board of Trustees met on campus March 1-2 for its annual spring meeting. 

I am pleased that the following people have agreed to serve on the search committee for Hamilton’s next vice president for communications and marketing:

In 2005, hoping that the Holocaust would “forever be a warning to all people of the dangers of hatred, bigotry, racism and prejudice,” the United Nations designated January 27 as a day to commemorate the millions of Jews and huge numbers of others who were murdered during the Holocaust.

We have received several bias incident reports related to the war in Israel and Gaza involving expression deemed hateful and antisemitic, on the one hand, and hateful and Islamophobic, on the other.
