St. Lawrence University won all three doubles matches and handed visiting Hamilton College a 6-3 loss in a non-conference dual match played at Sammis Tennis Courts on March 31.

Ashley Pardoe '09 won a hard-fought three-set match at third flight singles for the Continentals (1-6 overall). Pardoe rallied from losing the first set in a tie-breaker, 6-7 (5), to win the second set 6-1 and the third set 10-7 in a super-tiebreak.

Amelia Mattern '12 won at fifth flight, 6-3, 6-1. The Continentals picked up a third point when the St. Lawrence player facing Laura Brantley '10 at second flight forfeited due to injury in the second set.

Hamilton opens New England Small College Athletic Conference play on Saturday, April 4, at Colby College.
