The Hamilton Women’s Soccer team embarked on an unforgettable journey to Bermuda in May. Players and coaches enjoyed getting to know the local people, the history of the island, the thriving culture and of course, the finest international competition.
One of the most rewarding experiences was being able to offer a soccer clinic to young aspiring Bermudian soccer players. The Continentals enjoyed their time with the coaches and players of Pro-Bermuda soccer club. In addition to playing two soccer games - winning one and tying the other – members of Hamilton’s team took part in a cricket lesson. Cricket is another very popular sport on the island. Hamilton team members admit they had a hard time coming to grips with the "bowling" action and may have even 'pitched' a few cricket balls into the ocean.
Members of team were impressed by the sheer beauty of the island and thank the people of Bermuda, Hamilton College, family and friends who made the trip possible.
