Hamilton College women's rower Caroline Walton '15 (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles Central School) was selected to the 2013 NESCAC All-Conference Team on May 17.
2013 NESCAC women’s rowing all-conference team
The two 10-member squads include individuals from the eight rowing programs based on their finish at the 2013 NESCAC Championships, which were held in conjunction with the Eastern College Athletic Conference National Invitational Rowing Championships on May 12.
Walton earned a spot on the second team. She is a two-year varsity letter winner and primarily rowed in the five-seat for the varsity eight. Walton helped Hamilton retain the Gilman Plate for the eighth straight year with a win against Union College.
Hamilton was ranked No. 11 in the USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Division III Top 15 poll at the start of the year and spent three weeks in the rankings. In the latest NCAA Division III regional poll, Hamilton was ranked fourth in New York.
