Hamilton College placed 12th out of 15 teams at the 2013 Williams College Women's Golf Fall Invitational, which was held at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass., on Oct. 5 and 6.

Results

Hamilton's Katie Veasey '17 tied for 34th place out of 80 golfers with a 36-hole score of 176. Veasey carded a season-best round of 84 on Saturday and followed it up with a 92 on Sunday.

The Continentals posted a four-person team score of 392 on the first day. Hamilton slipped slightly to 397 on the final day and ended up with a total of 789 strokes.

Nationally ranked No. 6 Williams captured the team title with a team score of 629. No. 18 Middlebury College was runner-up at 639 and No. 11 Ithaca College finished third at 643. No. 20 New York University was way back in sixth place at 677. Amherst College's Jamie Gracie was the individual medalist with a two-day total of 150.

The Continentals' fall season is complete. Hamilton resumes play in March 2014.
