Schrader also handed out three assists. Jess Barrows '08 chipped in nine points.
The teams traded slim leads early until the Continentals erased a one-point deficit with a 6-0 run for a 14-9 advantage with 12:15 left in the first half. Fasulo scored four of the six points. Hamilton's cushion grew to 11 points at 32-21 at the break thanks in part to 57.7 percent (15-26) shooting from the floor.
The Continentals scored the first four points of the second half to take their largest lead of the game. However, Adrian (3-8) pulled to within three points at 53-50 with just 1:40 remaining. Sathula converted a three-point play 17 seconds later and Hamilton kept it a two-possession game the rest of the way.
The Continentals shot 51.2 percent (22-43) from the field. The biggest advantage was at the free throw line, where Hamilton went 19-for-23 (82.6 percent). Meanwhile, the Continentals were whistled for just six fouls, and the Bulldogs took just six foul shots. Adrian is a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
