Maurice Isserman

Maurice Isserman, the Publius Virgilius Rogers Professor of American History, recently presented a virtual talk titled “The Winter Army: The 10th Mountain Division in World War II” as a guest of Museums on the Green in Falmouth, Mass. He discussed his 2019 book The Winter Army: The World War II Odyssey of the 10th Mountain Division, America’s Elite Alpine Warriors.

Museums on the Green is part of the Falmouth Historical Society.

Last month, Isserman presented a talk about his book for the Ferguson Library in Stamford, Conn. The virtual event was part of the library’s Joe R. Sexton Lecture Series, which is described by the library as having been “created to perpetuate Mr. Sexton’s spirit, interests, and his unfailing enthusiasm to try new things.”
