Ernest Williams, the Christian A. Johnson Excellence in Teaching Professor of Biology, presented a gallery talk on June 19 at the Arts Center in Old Forge, N.Y. The talk focused on an exhibition of 30 of Williams’ nature photographs on display at the center’s Henry Kashiwa Ecology Gallery through July 28. The photos, some of which were taken for his 2005 book The Nature Handbook, focus on colors and patterns and illustrate specific observations of nature.
