About 30 teachers from area school districts attended an “Evening of Art for Educators” at the Wellin Museum on Feb. 6.  The evening began with an overview of the Wellin’s current exhibitions, followed by a presentation by NY Mills High School senior Alyssa Sinker. She worked on a semester-long project with the Wellin Museum in conjunction with the Herkimer Home historical site and Tim Ferguson, a New York Mills social studies teacher.

Teachers and administrators from Rome, Clinton, Oneida Herkimer Madison BOCES, VVS, Waterville, Westmoreland, Whitesboro, NY Mills and Utica attended the event and toured the Wellin.
