Assistant Professor of East Asian Languages and Literature Zhuoyi Wang was recently interviewed by the Asia Society’s online multimedia magazine ChinaFile.
In the interview, which took place in the Society’s New York studio, Wang discussed his book Revolutionary Cycles in Chinese Cinema, 1951-1979 (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014). The dialog focused on the main arguments of the book and its implications for understanding the Maoist culture.
