The Hamilton College volleyball team wrapped up two days of competition at the Hall of Fame Tournament by splitting a pair of three-set matches at Smith College on Saturday afternoon. The Continentals, 15-9 on the year, swept Westfield State University (25-14, 25-12, 25-12) and lost to Wesleyan University (25-19, 25-20, 25-17).

Hamilton allowed just 38 points in posting its second sweep in a row. Jessica Weston ’17 led the Continentals with nine kills and three service aces. Emma Lonadier ’15, who represented Hamilton on the all-tournament team, finished with seven kills and a team-leading seven digs. Erin Donahue '18 collected six kills and Margaret O’Brien ’18 finished with three blocks. Kyndal Burdin ’18 had five digs and 24 assists.

Lonadier led the Continentals with 10 digs in the Wesleyan match and added four kills. Anna Brown ’15 recorded nine digs and Burdin finished with 18 assists and six digs. Weston paced Hamilton with five kills and three aces. The Continentals dropped a five-set match at Wesleyan back on Oct. 17. 

Hamilton closes out the regular season this weekend, hosting NESCAC matches against Tufts University and Connecticut College on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, respectively. The Continentals have already clinched their first berth in the eight-team NESCAC Championship since 2000 and can finish as high as third in the conference standings.
