Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics Dave Perkins was given this year’s Outstanding Professional Development Award by the Mohawk Valley Engineers Executive Council.
On February 4, Perkins and Gregory Reeves ’17 volunteered their time to help run the local MATHCOUNTS competition. At this event, middle school students take a timed multiple choice math test; this year, a New Hartford student won the state competition and is going on to compete at the national level.
