Immediately after arriving on College Hill, students took their first tests of the spring semester — for COVID-19. After a period of quarantining, classes began on Feb. 1.
In order to create and protect the Hamilton Bubble (a.k.a. “Hubble”), the term began later than usual and will not include the traditional two-week Spring Break. The revised calendar does include two wellness days with no classes. Students are tested for COVID-19 three times a week, while employees who have close contact with students are tested twice a week. All others who work on campus are tested weekly.
