Associate Professor of Sociology Jaime Kucinskas was recently elected to the position of chair-elect for the American Sociological Association’s Sociology of Religion Section.
The role is the first step in a three-year term during which she will serve as chair-elect for one year, beginning on Sept. 1. Following that, she will serve as chair for a year, and finally, from Sept. 1, 2026 to Aug. 31, 2027, as past chair.
