Carl Rubino, the Winslow Professor of Classics, attended the annual meeting of the Classical Association of the Atlantic States (CAAS) on Oct. 9-11 in Washington, D.C.
As a member of a panel on “Funding and Project Support for Classicists,” he discussed his work as a member of the CAAS grants committee.
A former CAAS president, Rubino also received a Latin commendation (ovatio) for his service to the association.
