The Fort Worth Brahmas, a professional hockey team of the CHL, hired former player and Hamilton alumnus Sean Brady '96 as an assistant coach for the upcoming 2003-2004 season. For Brady, who retired as a player in January of 2001, this will be his first opportunity as the coach of a professional hockey team.
Brady played for the Brahmas in the 1998-99 season as well as the 2000-01 season. He scored 26 goals and had 35 assists while in a Brahmas uniform. Brady will be sharing coaching responsibilities with head coach Bill Inglis. Brady is no stranger to coaching though; in the 2000-01 season he was an assistant coach on the Southlake Carroll high school team that won the Texas state championship.
While at Hamilton Brady played four years in a Continental uniform and scored 48 goals and 55 assists, totaling 103 points for Coach Grady.
