Assistant Professor of Art Robert Knight took a group of students from Art 116: Introduction to Photography, to MASS MoCA on Oct. 20. According to Knight, “It was a great chance for the students to get off the Hill and see one of the region’s best contemporary art museums.”
Highlights of the trip included the exhibition “Oh, Canada,” a large show of work by 62 Canadian contemporary artists; the Sol LeWitt wall drawing retrospective, and “Making Room: The Space Between Two & Three Dimensions,” a smaller exhibit of artists whose work bridges between flat two-dimensional space and three-dimensional or time-based media.
