Patton Boggs LLP has announced the addition of Daniel R. Murdock '59 as a partner to its New York office. Murdock, an experienced lead defense counsel in civil and criminal litigation, brings experience from some of the nation's largest securities fraud class actions suits such as the Michael Milken-Drexel securities litigation and multi-billion dollar lawsuits resulting from the Washington Public Power Supply System bond default. Murdock, formerly Chief Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York, has served as both chairman of Winston & Strawn's litigation department in New York and chairman of the litigation department at Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine. A Philosophy major and member of the Emerson Literary Society at Hamilton, Murdock went on to obtain his L.L.B. from Harvard Law in 1962. Murdock remains active in the Hamilton community as a Career Center and Hamnet volunteer.
