
An interview with Associate Professor of French Joseph Mwantuali was recently published in Africultures, an online magazine for Francophone African Studies.
In the interview titled “It is time to teach our knowledge,” Mwantuali discussed his 2007 novel L’impair de la nation and a variety of topics including Postcolonialism and Africanity, Panafricanism and globalization, and the African woman’s sine qua non inclusion in the Nation building process. According to Mwantuali, African traditions have a lot to share with the world, including narrative techniques that Mwantuali says have inspired his writing.
