The Hamilton College Department of Music begins the season with the annual Fall Faculty Concert on Friday, Sept. 1, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center.
The concert will feature Hamilton College faculty artists performing solo and duet pieces for voice, piano, strings, brass, and woodwinds. The musical selections are varied and range from classical to jazz, including a piano piece for four hands and two pianos.
The faculty artists performing in the Fall Faculty Concert include: Allan Kolsky, clarinet; Peter Rovit, violin; Adam Dudding, guitar; Heather Buchman, trombone; Colleen Roberts Pellman, piano; Samuel Pellman, piano; Monk Rowe, alto saxophone; Jesse Sprole, piano; Jon Fredric West, heldentenor; and Sar-Shalom Strong, piano.
