Taylor Hogenkamp '13 finished seventh in the 100-yard freestyle for Hamilton College on the third and final day of the 2012 NESCAC men's swimming & diving championship at Williams College's Samuelson-Muir Pool on Feb. 26.
Results
Hamilton ended up in ninth place in the final team standings out of 11 schools with 458 points. Williams captured the team title with 2,011 points.
Hogenkamp posted a time of 47.06 seconds in the 100 free championship final. He went slightly faster in the preliminary heats at 46.73 seconds.
Reid Swartz '15 was seventh in the 200 backstroke consolation final with a time of 1:58.27 after he came in at 1:57.34 during the morning prelims. Michael Weinzierl '15 took second place in the preconsolation final with a time of 1:58.58. Weinzierl's preliminary heat time was 1:57.89.
Tom Youngblood '13 finished sixth in the 200 breaststroke preconsolation final with a time of 2:14.61. The season is complete for the Continentals.
