Anthony Carello '09 and Trevor Clarkson '09 combined to make seven saves for Hamilton College as the Continentals and SUNY Oswego played to a 0-0 tie in a non-league game at Love Field on Sept. 5.

Both teams had a myriad of chances to score the goal that would have won this game. Hamilton (0-0-1 overall) held a 17-15 advantage in shots. Each team missed a penalty kick in the second half as both shots caromed off the crossbar. The Continentals took three corner kicks and four shots in the second 10-minute overtime period.

Carello started in goal and made five saves in the first half. Clarkson moved into the net to start the second half and played the final 65 minutes. He came way off his line to stop a shot at point-blank range early in the second overtime.

Max Akuamoah-Boateng '09 led Hamilton with five shots. The Continentals are 17-5-4 all-time against Oswego (0-2-1) and Hamilton is unbeaten in its last nine games against the Lakers. The Continentals' last scoreless tie was on Sept. 24, 2005, at St. Lawrence University.

Hamilton travels to SUNY Institute of Technology for another non-league game on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m.
