Hamilton and Bates players will wear gold laces in their shoes for the game, which is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 9 on Love Field. All donations raised through Hamilton men's soccer will support children and their families in the local community. September has been designated Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
The mission of the Go4theGoal Foundation is to improve the lives of children battling cancer by providing financial support, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, funding innovative research and granting personal wishes. Through their first-hand experience with pediatric cancer and their medical background, Go4theGoal provides the best practices to patients, their families and the hospitals and staff that care for them.
