Hamilton College's Greg Scott '14 fired a 7-over-par 149 for 36 holes and the Continentals tied for eighth place out of 23 teams at the 2013 Williams College Invitational, which was held at Taconic Golf Club on Sept. 21 and 22.

Scott posted a 73 on Saturday and added a 76 the second day on a course that played to a par of 71. He tied for third place out of 118 finishers. Five of Scott's six rounds this fall have been in the 70s.

Mac Pivirotto '15 and Carter White '14 tied for 43rd place at 159 for Hamilton. Pivirotto and White recorded matching 80s on the first day and both carded 79s on Sunday.

The Continentals ended up with a four-man team score of 314 on Saturday and, despite three rounds in the 70s, slipped slightly to a 317 on the final day. Hamilton's 631 total matched Rhode Island College.

Williams captured the team title with a winning score of 607. Rensselaer was runner-up at 611 and Trinity College was another shot back in third place at 612. Nationally ranked No. 20 Skidmore College finished fourth at 614. Manhattanville College's Eric Michalak earned individual medalist honors with a 5-over 147.

The Continentals compete in the NESCAC championship qualifier at Brunswick Golf Club in Maine on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28 and 29.
