Hamilton College finished in second place in the Sunshine Invitational held at the PGA Village Ryder Golf Course in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on March 25.
 
Phil Preiss ‘10 was the top finisher for Hamilton in sixth place out of 21 golfers with a 3-over-par score of 75. The course measures 6,616 yards. Scott Blosser ‘12 finished seventh as he fired a 76. L.J. Scurfield ‘12 took eighth place, posting a score of 77. Knute Gailor '13 rounded out the top four finishers for the Continentals. Gailor posted a round of 79 to tie for ninth place.
 
Hamilton finished with a team score of 307. Trinity College took first place with a team total of 293, and Williams College finished third with a score of 313.
 
The Continentals next host the Hamilton Spring Invitational on Tuesday, April 6, at Skenandoa Club in Clinton.
